About Melvin (Creator):

Melvin is an undergraduate at the National University of Singapore majoring in Project and Facilities Management, who is also an avid bubble tea fan.

An environmentalist at heart, Melvin hopes to tackle the problem of food and plastic wastage in his community through the sale of the reusable cups and straws, as well as individually packed DIY boba tea kits that is not too much or too little for his consumers.

Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, staying home has become vital as a preventive measure for the spread of the virus and the situation further hastened his idea of bringing bubble tea to people's homes. After stages of planning and conceptualisation, +65BOBA was formed.
